1) My Testimony / Prayer For Healing Meeting I believe that God has allowed me to go through the 'Leukaemia experience' for many reasons. One reason is so that I can testify to others of His love and care throughout the darkest, most traumatic year of my life. Throughout 2009 / 2010 I will be available to visit Churches to give my very honest testimony and then to pray for any who are unwell and are in need of prayer. This will be a very gentle meeting of encouragement, but I am also praying that we will see God's healing power in action. These meetings will correspond with the release of my new testimony book 'Coping with Cancer' which will be published in 2009. 2) The Saturday Praise Party / The Sunday All Age Meeting The Saturday Praise Party / Sunday All Age Meeting’s are primarily a family time that is geared for all ages but especially suitable for children. It will be packed with scripture songs with fun actions and will include a short Bible story. It will be an ideal event for Christians to invite their non-churched friends and families along to. Both meetings last approx 60 – 90 minutes and as small children will be attending, we do suggest that the Saturday Praise Party (unless it is an afternoon event) begins around 6.00 pm. 3) The Training Day Please note: Due to Irene’s new appointment as the Sussex Children’s Diocesan Children’s Officer, there may be occasions when she will not be able to be present. Just in case this happens, please can you choose another of my seminar topics to replace the 2.00pm Creative prayer workshop. I will of course confirm Irene’s availability before you do your publicity. What is required from you, the organiser 1) To advertise the day by contacting local Churches. Although numbers attending are not that important to me, I do feel that I have some important things to share so the more people that know about it and can join us for the day the better. 2) To welcome people and register them as they arrive and give them a sticker to wear with their names on. 3) To provide 2 rooms for the sessions, (if Irene is coming) including somewhere for delegates to eat lunch if raining. 4) To provide coffee / tea for delegates and sandwiches for our lunch. 5) As we will not be recording any sessions, to advise delegates to bring pen and paper to take notes. 6) We have our shop open the whole time, but it will not need to be manned during the training day. This is an informal day. Please relax if you are not used to organising an event like this, I will be there to help you. It and it will be a lot of fun ! Children and the Church. Ish 1.00 Lunch (suggest delegates bring their own lunch) During this time, Ish (and Irene) will be available both to answer questions and pray for any delegates that would like to be prayed for. 2.00 Workshop 1. Creative prayer workshop. Irene (Plus please choose another Ish subject in case Irene cannot be present – see below) 3.00 short (loo) break 3.10 Workshop 2 Teaching through music workshop. Ish 4.15 (approx) Finish. Please indicate 1 of the following for Ish's 10.30 seminar and one as reserve (should Irene not be present) for the 2.00pm workshop. 1) The Holy Spirit and children. 2) Children and spiritual warfare. 3) Children and healing 4) The All age / family meeting 5) Old issues facing a young generation Or any other subjects instead of those above that you would like Ish to teach on. Financial arrangements per day / weekend Praise Party / Training Day / Sunday All Age Meeting / or anything else.
