An odd day at the hospital! [09-Mar-2010] | | I was there at 10.30 and the day ward was packed!
Still, it was not long before I chatted to a few friends and then was lying on my bed ready for the 3 monthly bone drilling. (Bone marrow biopsy)
All went well, a nice kip, a nice cup of tea and a nice little hole in my chest!
But then came the odd thing.
I went to the admissions desk to say hello to a Canon friend of mine (who pops in and helps out on a Monday) and he was relieved to see me as in his books, I had been re-admitted again into a hospital ward.
Of course this was a mistake and I deliberately visited the ward... to visit me!
You gotta laugh after a day like this!
Tonight I took off my shirt to reveal a large plaster in the shape of a cross over my chest ( they drill a hole in my sternum) and Irene has always refered to me as her little warrior. Tonight I looked like her little crusader!
