I don't normally do hospital visits on Thursdays but someone phoned me and and asked if I could pop in and visit a young guy (who I think is not a Church guy) who has just been diagnosed with a very serious illness.
As always. I see this as a great privilege.
Also as usual it has been a traumatic week of ups and downs with my cancer friends but this afternoon I am hoping to join a fun 'glory golfers' (glory spelt wrong of course it should be G.L.O.R.I.E) competition to unwind a bit!
I love playing golf, but who cares about winning...whatever the Olympics are pushing, it's all about having fun with friends, letting my overactive brain cool down a bit and enjoying God's countryside for me!
