More nice comments from last Friday’s concert
Just had 3 more encouraging comments from people who attended our ‘Sting in the Tale’ concert last Friday that I thought you might like to see.
Eddie said ‘Just to say thank you so much for the concert at Westham. My grandaughter and her boyfriend came with me and we all found it enjoyable, challenging, moving. God bless as you go to Spring Harvest.
Ivana said ‘Carol and I both enjoyed last night and she was very glad she came, just regretted she hadn’t brought her husband with her. I am sure you’ll be very successful at Spring Harvest as you used to be before.’
And Chris the vicar / organiser said ‘Once more a huge thank you for Friday. Almost universal accolades from our folk. One elderly saint found it a bit loud otherwise we all thought it was great, encouraging and challenging.’ To which I replied ‘yes it was a bit loud but please inform your elderly saint that since my cancer treatment my hearing is not too good…I need it loud so that I can hear it!’
Although I won’t be selling it in our shop, I have run off a special souvenir compilation CD of all the songs we used at that concert. I thought for those who could not get there, you may like to still hear the music.
All are the original tracks taken from the original albums.
The 12 tracks are Nicodemus / The grunting song / Eli the fly / 2 Timothy 2 / Crowd trouble / Laodecean Church / Marksman / Rum, gin and cocktail / Bartimaeus / Down in a noisy small valley / King of glory / Father God I wonder.
The cost including P&P is £6.50 but you will need to e mail me personally at ishmael@ishmael.org.uk if you would like a copy.
Have a great day.
