Priority change.
After prayerful consideration, although I will remain available and will still enjoy joining churches for all age praise parties and Sunday celebrations, my priority is now to reach as many churches and as may people as I can with our ‘When the road is rough and steep’ testimony concert.
Why?
1. I am hearing about so many churches with attenders who are sadly suffering from, or who know someone who is suffering from a serious illness and more than ever God’s people seem to be going through rough and steep times.
2. I thank God that our very honest and easy to listen to testimony concert, although it does not have all the answers, it does seem to have been a help and spiritually enlightening to many people in every church we have visited.
3. Through having had cancer, a stroke and known bereavement, and for over 15 years had weekly involvement in our local hospital as a volunteer chaplain, I feel that I can relate to and hopefully encourage those going through difficult times.
4. And most important of all, I promised God that He chose to keep me alive, I would travel and share with others the good things that He has done for me.
No fee, just expenses.

People’s comments.
‘Although not particularly suitable for children, it was an amazing testimony concert and people of all ages found it hugely helpful. It was so real and honest and yet uplifting at the same time.’
I just wanted to say that Ish and Irene came and did this seminar at our church, and it was a huge blessing to all that came. The evening combined songs, humour, honesty about the struggles we have, and a focus on the glorious hope that Christ brings to us. If you are wondering whether to have this event at your church, I really encourage you to do so and am sure you will be just as blessed as we were!
Really enjoyed listening to you both. Inspirational, moving, and great fun. What ambassadors for Christ you both are.
I very much enjoyed the seminar. Very moving. I will enjoy reading your book “Our Cancer Journey”
