I feel that the Lord and I agree on this.

I will cease to travel and do gigs when

a) I realise that I am not physically or mentally up to giving my very best when doing them.

b) When I cease to enjoy doing them and stop getting excited at the thought of putting them in my diary.

After last Tuesday’s praise party…I realise neither of these criteria are close at present. Praise God!

So whilst I am feeling rather excited about the coming year and still visiting a few churches doing my ‘when the road is rough and steep testimony concerts’ and ‘all age praise parties and celebrations, imagine how I encouraged I felt when I received the following from Nikki the organiser of Tuesday’s children’s praise party.

Encouraging as it truly is…I’ve been doing travelling ministry long enough to realise that it’s definitely all about the last sentence.

‘How wonderful is our Lord’

Nikki wrote….

I just can’t thank God enough for you Ishmael. Right from the start He wanted you here, paved the way and led me down the miraculous path to make it happen.

Ish you are an intergenerational blessing and boy did you bless the children on Tuesday. Thank you.

The gifts and callings of God are irrevocable and He has allowed us to witness to that , and be so very blessed by those gifts on Tuesday….we just LOVED LOVED LOVED it.

You are an intergenerational inspiration and I feel so blessed that the Lord would let us use you in this work.

How wonderful is our Lord
