Twenty years ago Irene and I visited Costa Rica, Central America as patrons of Educación Plus, a Christian charity working with young people in the shanty towns. We still feel honoured to be their patrons to this day. What a fantastic praise party this morning in Eastbourne. A good number attending and definitely a very mixed, very enthusiastic age group who really did join in with all the singing, actions and laughter. Here you can see Timbo and I relaxing in the church car park afterwards…rather sweaty and wind swept! PS Timbo has a bag of sandwiches and cakes in his hand which the Church kindly gave us for a picnic lunch on the way home. Look carefully at his excited face…if Timbo has his way, those edible treats have very little hope of leaving this church car park intact!
