Yippee! We did it!

And I am so grateful for your prayers and the Lord providing me with inspiration and most of all, lots of energy.

This ‘children’s’ praise party was a non-stop hour of very lively music….in a very warm environment, in every sense of the word!

Roughly 12 out of the 14 songs I’d chosen had actions…which of course I had to teach first, and 2 of those songs (Bigger Barn and Wolfie) I had to use the CD tracks because there was no way that I was not going to join in those actions!

Lots of lovely children and also so many really nice, very responsive and very helpful leaders…which really makes my job so much easier. Thank you.

Much thanks to Nikki who was the organiser who invited me, what a wonderful lady.

It’s been so long since I’ve done a ‘children’s’ praise party’, and this was a reminder of just how much fun they can be.

Would I like to do a lot more ‘children’s’ praise parties? Well, maybe just a select few if they were guaranteed to be as exciting as today’s!

You see when I do my all-age ‘praise parties’ and ‘celebrations’ and the’ when the road is rough and steep’ concerts, I have the luxury of taking things more slowly and including more relaxed chat, which allows me more time to take a breather between songs.

But when I do an event just for children…I just want to squeeze as many songs as I can into the hour …and not give the children the chance to get bored!

One last thing. I met quite a few parents and even a couple of Church leaders who remembered me singing at their Churches when they were children and most important, they still remember the Scripture Songs that I taught them many many years ago. Remembering my praise and worship songs is great but I feel even more blessed when people remember Scripture.

A truly wonderful morning! Thank you everyone.
