    I’ve brought my October review forward a bit as the rest of the month looks to be reasonably quiet… except for a fun wedding which I am sure won’t be! It has been a mixed month with both very happy and very sad times. I have missed my travelling gigs as they have been non-existent throughout the month, but thankfully they pick up again in November with visits to Haslebury Plunknett for a ‘When the road is rough & Steep testimony concert’ on November 23rd and Dorchester Elim for a special all age celebration on November 24th.   • 2 albums for the price of 1

    I’ve just been listening to these 2 albums, first time for ages, and had forgotten how good and unique they really are! OK I am slightly biased! What a amazing mix of songs on each of them, and both so very different in content and musical styles. I especially enjoyed listening to the fantastic voices of my guest singers on ‘Songs & Hymns’. Both are very special to me but oddly enough, I can’t remember writing any of the songs on either of them because ‘Bigger Barn’ was written when I was suffering from leukaemia and ‘Songs & Hymns’ when I was suffering from bereavement.
