As mentioned earlier, I’m just revising what I’ll be offering Churches as I tour during 2020 but whilst doing so I glanced at the new year diary and realised that nearly all the bookings so far in Jan / Feb are for Sunday All Age Celebrations.An idea came to mind and I just wondered if any Churches fairly local to where I’ll be going to be on the Sunday, fancied starting the new year with a fun All Age Ish 75 minute Praise Party on the Saturday beforehand, mainly for your local Church and their guests. A little sad really as yesterday in Luton was my last concert of the year but wow, praise God, what a year it’s been. What a brill time I’ve had visiting Chichester, Newport,Welsh Valleys, Footscray, Portsmouth, Weston, Martley, Bromsgrove, Enfield, Bridlington, Bishop Auckland, Spring Harvest Minehead & Skegness, Swindon, Alfold, Warwick, Axminister, St Minver, Bristol, Birchington, Lincoln, Littlehampton, Crawley, Weston again, Luton, Bedford, Stansted, Sandown, Spalding, Sleaford, Haywards Heath, Felpham, Chiddingfold, New Hall Prison, Louth, Stafford, Chichester again, Footscray again, South Bersted, Wilmslow then finally Luton again. On Thursday October 31st I will NOT be scaring people and celebrating the prince of darkness, instead I will be having a very happy time praising the light of the world at a special children’s light party at the Ascension Church, Haywards Heath 6pm. Remarkably people are still buying (and still enjoying it seems) the Christmas Carol Celebration CD which I recorded 30 years ago! Well, traditional Carols never seem to date…probably because we only sing them a few weeks each year! My little Carol CD bounces along and ding dongs merrily on high….and amazingly a lot of the children who sang on it so beautifully, will now have teenage children of their own!
