On Thursday I will be deaconing and doing a short talk at the Cathedral Ascension communion service. Whilst I appreciate Christmas, Easter, Pentecost and dare I say even ‘All Hallows’? get higher profiles, I think that it is good to set a day aside to celebrate Christ’s Ascension as I believe it was a very important occasion. Only trouble is whenever I think of Ascension day, for some strange reason Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to come to mind…can’t understand why!

My good buddy Noel Richards shared with me something that he does midweek and I thought wow, that would really be great for my ‘History of Ish’ testimony concert.My main ministry of course will continue to be visiting Churches and doing my concerts with them but I do realise that some of your Churches feel they don’t want to, or are unable to arrange a concert in their building which is fair enough. However, how about YOU hosting a Cosy Concert for your neighbours, friends, fellow church people in YOUR LOUNGE!I would insist that your lounge is big enough to comfortably seat at least 25 people…. and not sitting on…

Wednesday I’m at St Peters Church in Martley doing a special rendering of my ‘When the road is rough and steep’ concert for their Lent event. Thursday I’m doing a radio interview for Heart and Soul radio followed by a ‘Sting in the Tale’ testimony concert at Catshill Baptist Church in Bromsgrove. Saturday I’m at St Andrews Church in Crawley along with Duggie Dug Dug doing a seminar and Praise Party for childrens leaders. Then on Sunday morning I’m preaching in Chichester Cathedral on Luke 14 v 33 when Jesus said ‘Anyone who does not give up everything they have cannot be my disciple.I love diversity and challenge and next…
